Why we were founded

In Türkiye and the surrounding region, a great many sound companies stall not because the business is bad but because the financing structure was built wrongly. Long-term investment is funded with short-term debt; growth is attempted with working capital rather than equity; a good project is turned down by the credit committee because of a badly constructed security package.

NART Capital Development was founded in 2022 for exactly this gap: an independent adviser that defines the company's real requirement, converts it into a financeable structure and matches it with the right provider of capital.

What we do and do not do

We provide corporate finance advisory: capital structure design, management of merger and acquisition processes, project finance structuring, cross-border structuring, due diligence and special situations.

We do not take deposits, manage funds, provide portfolio management, give investment advice or lend from our own balance sheet. We do not take commission from capital providers in order to steer you towards a particular product — that is what our independence means.

Positioning

We are based in Istanbul and a significant part of our mandates carries a cross-border component: Gulf capital entering Türkiye, Turkish companies expanding into Europe and Central Asia, holding structures across multiple jurisdictions.

We concentrate on transactions that fall below the threshold of the large investment banks in size, yet require institutional-grade advice in complexity. That is precisely the segment where corporate advisory is least available.

Our operating principles

We take a mandate only if we believe we can produce a result. We say at the outset when a request is not feasible. In every mandate we represent one side and decline work that creates a conflict of interest. Information shared with us never leaves the scope of the mandate.
